Check-In accomplishes performs three tasks:
Transfers the work your did in AOM to All Orders
Delete all transactions from AOM successfully created in All Orders.
Synchronizes the device file with the All Orders database
For example you created a new customer in AOM then created a sales order for that customer. In the meantime other users of All Orders have added customers, modified items, shipped, received etc. During a check-in, a new customer and sales orders will be created in All Orders and the additions, modifications and deletions to the look-up tables in All Orders will be reflected in AOM. The sales order you created in AOM (and ALL transactions that you may have previously checked out) will be deleted from AOM.
When the device is connected to server either by Active sync. or by WiFi press the Check-in Icon on the home screen. The check-in screen opens.
Press Start CheckIn to start the process. You will see a series of messages to update show you the status of the transmission.
