Login failed for user 'sa'
Description
At various times an error message, "login fail for user 'sa'" appears by itself or along side other text
Cause:
1. You may have another SQL Server application running for which the administrative user/password is not 'sa'/''sysadmin' which is the default our installation requires.
2. Appears with other error text indicating a failed restore or failed backup
Resolution:
1. For cause #1 above, change Server Settings and enter correct uderid/password if known
2. For cause #2 above, refer to FAQ# 158 and apply it to the SERVER,
then on the WORKSTATION just open company and point to ncd file created.
