Error -2147220955: The String "XX..." is too long
Unexpected error Description:
When sending a Bill or Invoice to QuickBooks that has serial # you may receive the following error:
Error -2147220955: The String "XX..." is too long
Possible Cause:
You have "Include Serial # in description of Bill or Invoice" CHECKED in Lot/Serial# Preferences and there are numerous serial l# in one or more items. QuickBooks can only accepts approximately 4000 characters in the item description fields.
Resolution:
Temporarily UNCHECK "Include Serial # in description of Bill or Invoice" in Lot/Serial# Preferences and try sending the Bill or Invoice to QuickBooks again.
